Using Classic Mode

Classic mode offers a chat based experience with full flexibility on how you can use the agent.

Overview

Classic Mode is the original Blueprint experience.

It gives you direct access to onchain yield opportunities through an AI-powered interface, while keeping you in full control of every transaction.

If you want flexibility, customization, and hands-on control over your capital, Classic Mode is for you.

What is classic mode?

Classic Mode allows you to:

• View your onchain assets

• Bridge and swap across supported networks

• Deploy funds into yield opportunities

• Automatically optimize your idle assets

• Monitor your portfolio in one place

You can choose to manually sign transactions or turn on automation (in settings) to let the agent execute for you.

How classic mode works?

Blueprint Classic Mode has three main components:

1. Your Blueprint account and portfolio

Your Blueprint account holds your assets and investments

• You can deposit stablecoins or other supported assets.

• Funds remain in wallets controlled by you.

• Idle funds are not automatically invested.

You can see:

• Asset breakdown

• Network details

• Idle vs invested funds

2. Chat interface

You can prompt the agent the agent to deposit funds, make withdrawals, rebalance your portfolio, or swap and bridge your assets.

You will see the agent's thought process and the actions it will take according to your intent or goal.

3. Investment opportunities

You can browse a list of our integrated vaults:

• See currently available yield opportunities

• Deposit into a single vault

• Deposit into a predefined collection of vaults

Limitations of Classic Mode

Classic Mode:

• Requires user prompting and confirmations

• Does not automatically invest your funds

• May involve manual asset management

• Exposes you more directly to DeFi mechanics

It is powerful, but not fully simplified.

FAQs

Does Blueprint custody my funds?

No. Funds remain in onchain wallets tied to your account. Blueprint facilitates execution but does not take custody.

Can funds move without my permission?

In classic mode, the agent will not take action without the user initiating a prompt or transaction. You can choose to manually approve every transaction, or let the agent automatically approve them on your behalf.

The agent only operates within the scope you provide.

How often does the agent rebalance?

The agent does not rebalance on it's own. For this feature, you can utilize our Smart Savings Account.

Can I withdraw anytime?

Some vaults allow instant withdrawals; others may have liquidity or exit constraints. Depending on where you've deployed capital, you can simply prompt the agent to initiate your withdrawals.

What yield can I expect?

Yields vary based on market conditions and protocol performance. You can browse available vaults and their respective APYs in the investment opportunities section.
